In this mode the game can be played in many different ways, one player can focus on optimizing tower placement while the other shoots at enemies or they can both focus their firepower on the strongest attackers. Enemies attack in larger numbers and from new directions making good cooperation essential to winning. All missions have different gameplay scenarios designed specifically for co-op play. The game also features Co-op mode, the one I didn't see in any games for a very long time - Split screen. and it gives you that feeling of accomplishment when you finally beat the level, after it seemed impossible because you were getting attacked from all sides. Every level you get introduced to a new type of enemy, new weapon, new building etc. I've had a lot of fun in this game and, although it looks like it's repetitive - it really isn't. Tear down buildings and collapse bridges to support your defense or to simply indulge in a spectacle of unprecedented destruction. Build mazes for incoming enemies in an environment that provides exceptional planning freedom. Strategize in the build mode by carefully selecting various types of alien towers or throw yourself right into heat of the battle. You are the X-Morph - an alien species that invades Earth to harvest its resources and terraform the surface. X-Morph: Defense is an unique fusion of a top down shooter and tower defense strategy.

More than that? He just seems like a generally calming presence amidst a handful of live-wires like Aquaman and Flash. Given that Snyder is likely imagining a trilogy where Darkseid succeed s in his plan to take over Earth-and the last living Justice League-ers have to escape an evil Superman's eye-the Martian's shapeshifting powers could come in handy as they try to infiltrate that apocalyptic city teased in the epilogue. Now, in the hypothetical scenario Snyder does get the chance to continue telling Justice League stories: Martian Manhunter will likely take a seat at the big superhero table Bruce Wayne mentions in the epilogue. Then, when he links up with the Justice League, he uses his ridiculously-overpowered abilities-which include flying, invisibility, and telepathy, just to start-to do some of the tougher jobs, being the closest in ability to Superman. On Earth, he often adopted the identity of a private detective named John Jones.
Though his comics history has been tweaked over and over throughout the years, the gist is that he's usually portrayed as the last living Martian, going through a tragic story loosely reminiscent of Superman's origin story on Krypton. As for the alien in question, things are a little different in the comics, though, where Martian Manhunter-whose real name is J'onn J'onzz-is one of the seven original founding members of the Justice League.
